Community Inclusion Training
The Community Inclusion workshop provides participants with a framework for how to support people with a disability to become involved in sport and recreation in their community. The workshop outlines ways to plan for community inclusion and provide goals to work towards.
This training is not intended to teach you how to “care” for someone or to be a service provider. Instead, you will learn how to assist people with a disability to connect with others in the community. Included in this training is our Community Inclusion Manual to help you implement skills learned. Participants also receive a Certificate of Attendance.
